This is one of the Cheech's solo projects. Cheech seems more tame in it. Interestingly, in C&C duo, he's the crazy one - yet by himself, he's not as outrageous. I see a parallel with Marx brothers here - when there was 4 of them, Zeppo was the 'plain' one and together there were bouncing off the walls.
